After a very late night, I got up at lunch time, along with Victoria. She didn't have any plans for that day, so we decided to visit Gellert Hill together. After leaving the hostel, we picked up something for a late breakfast from the Spar next to the hostel, then caught a tram going towards the hill.

We got of just before Petofi Bridge, so we could walk across it to get some good views of the river. From there, we walked along the Buda side of the river, towards the hill. The hill is pretty much covered in a wooded park, with lots of winding pathways up and around it. It was a fine day, so we took our to make our way to the top. The Liberation monument stands at the top, looking out across to Pest. We wandered by the Citadel, also perched on the top, then made our way down the other side of the hill and walked through a residential area, on our way to the river.

We crossed over to Pest side of the river again and found a cheap Chinese buffet for a late late lunch. With our bellies full, we decided to head back to the hostel for a nap!

We spent the evening in the hostel chatting and having a laugh. As Victoria had her interview the next day, we had an early night, but a group of students arrived at 11pm, so took over our dorm room. Although it wasn't a very eventful day, it was still great to spend it hanging out with Victoria, who was so much fun! It was also good to do some touristy things with someone else, as I generally do stuff by myself through the day. All in all, it was a very good day!
