that city was a weird experience! we just went there to get to the island "morro de sao paulo" the next day. my friends arrived there with an earlier bus so they already found a place to sleep for my that was nice for a change! after i had a look and to leaf my luggage we walked to the city center to see if there is anything to see. well it wasn't to difficult to get around even without a map! we found a nice boutique with lovely dresses but we didn't buy anything! after we walked up the hill to get to the old church, it was already dark so my pictures didn't get nice at all! but you have a nice view of the port and the city! we stayed there for a moment before we went down again. before we tried to find something to eat we saw a capoeira training in front of the town hall, the first time i saw capoeira for non touristic reason! that town was non touristic at all, well there wasn't much to see i can understand why.

after that we tried to find something for dinner, but it seemed that no-one in that place ate dinner, i think in bahia they just eat big lunch and no dinner, so we wondered around for more than an our until we found a kilo restaurant where we had a good lunch, nothing special but good! after that we went to an ice cream restaurant for a nice dessert (in brazil they have not just kilo restaurants for normal food they have i for ice cream as well, dangerous for your figure but very tasty, my fav. flavour in brazil was maracuja = passion fruit)
next to that restaurant they had some sort of local openair concert with lots of information tents around, that was interesting cause they showed how to be able to clean local tap water in an environment friendly way, but the concert was pretty bad! so we went off, we passed a billiard bar, so we thought good idea lets play pool! but that wasn't so easy, first the tables in brazil are very different and second we were the attraction of every men around, so they all thought that they have to show us how to play! one kissed every girl when we managed to hole a ball! an other one tried to explain us those weird rules, even the owner of that bar started to be worried about us so he closed the bar for 2 guys, but then the other guys around saw their chances!! and they started to annoy us! so we decided to leaf, but they wouldn't let us go, it is to dangerous in the streets and that we'll never find the right way! but we were more scared about them, but we couldn't get rid of one so he followed us almost to the hotel, where he asked for money because he protected us, but we didn't pay him anything and just ran to the hotel! we were quite scared of him and glad that we left the place next day!
we left our luggage in the rodoviaria, because we didn't plan to stay on morro for to long!
