well porto seguro was my first time in bahia, i got there by bus from belo horizonte, it supposed to be an 18hours ride but it turned out to be an 24hours ride! they had to stop at one place and repair the bus! so half the day was gone when i arrived there, the person on the rodoviaria i asked how to get to the hostel told me that there were no more beds in the hostel until i told him that i had a hostel card (very weird!) and he made me take the taxi to the hostel although it was very close and it would have been easy to walk there! well i got to the hostel in mid afternoon, and i was very tired so a fell a sleep immediately, and at night i just went out to get me something to eat, the town is very touristy but charming!
next day i went to the beach, for that i took a very overcrowded bus, so i got of before i planned, than i walked on the beach a bit, it is a very crowded beach, but the sand and the sea are really clean! the atmosphere is nice, so i enjoyed a day at the beach! the water was really warm that was the first time in brazil so i guess that this is north enough, so the water is finally warm enough!
at night i randomly walked through the city, i asked i guy who was "madly in love with me" where i find a cheap place to eat and he told me the directions to a restaurant that was one of the cheapest end best i've ever seen! and there were no tourists around not even brazilian ones! i liked that! after i went to the "alcohol street" where you fin stand who sell caipirinha and especially "capode" a bahiano specialty! i'm not a big drinker but i liked that! around there you find plenty of small stand that sell artisanato (brazilian jewelery), so i had a look around.

after that i went with some argentinian roommates to a famous porto seguro party! where you have a stage and a group tells you how to dance and the whole audience copies that dance, well it was fun to watch that spectacle, not the group but the audience! but that place was not really made for me!
so i left next day!
