This cruise allowed me to visit Cabo San Lucas. The area is known for the rock formations that rise out from the sea. The area is a combination of desert on one end, and ocean on another end. The cruise allowed both my Dad and I to meet some amazing people on board. Among them included a group of women we nicknamed "The Sisters." They loved my Dad and made him feel good.
The Carnival Elation is part of the Carnival Fantasy Class of ships. It is similar to the Carnival Ecstasy that offers a similar itinerary out of Galveston. This month, (April 2010) Carnival Corporation is moving the Elation to Mobile, Alabama where it will offer a 4 night trip to Cozumel Island in the Mexican State of Quintana Roo.
Carnival Cruises is perhaps one of the most affordable of all cruise lines. They cater to all ages. Their childrens program Camp Carnival is recognized as one of the leaders for provding a fun vacation for small children to adults. The entertainment is similar to what you would see in either Las Vegas or on Broadway.
Virtually everything is included in your cruise price. Except for things of a personal nature, (shopping, drinks, tipping) you are covered.
