A very relaxed day. I was sleeping at the sand dunes, woke up the next morning, packed my bag and started climbing the sand dunes that were indeed impressive. The horserides and even camelrides were too much though. After some more walking along the coastline I went in the direction of the highway, found a truck that drove me directly to Himeji (this truckdriver was almost retired and also practised Kendo) and then was ready to find a hostel with some internet and a shower.....but there wasn't any.
Instead I was refered to a capsule hotel + sauna. The sauna part sounded great and I had heard about capsules in Kyoto. They were the ultimate efficient rooms. Like a couple of stacked tubes (or coffins) with a tv in it.
Sleeping in such a capsule is actually comfortable. It is just as big as a bunkbed anyway. Just don't mind all the snorring of other businessmen and the flickering of all the tv's. I can highly recommend this kind of place, but bring a book and enjoy the sauna.
