Why the rush? Well there is a HUGE festival going on right now! Some of the biggest names in country music are playing a 5-day concert right here in Cavendish right now! Taylor Swift is Saturday night, Keith Urban and Glorianna are tonight, Lady Antebella and about 21 other artists are playing! What timing! Sadly, we are not going to the concert because tickets are about $100 each a day and it just would not be worth it for all of us.
We were happy that traffic in Cavendish was not a bad as we feared this afternoon. It was harried around the Green Gables site that Parks Canada runs, where I think the concert is behind, but otherwise not too busy. However, all the RV parks and National Parks were full or close.

But Michael, the owner, kindly found a site for a night, offering water and only 15 amp service (everything electric but the air conditioner, and no tank emptying, neither of which we need anyway.) Total cost $15.50. Hooray! And there is a lovely pool, laundry, showers, lovely guests and sunset, all of which we have enjoyed here! Compared to $51 at the National Park, this is a delightful find!
We got good information in Cavendish at Information and plan to enjoy some Anne sites in the morning, although Cavendish is not really a village, since it is an agricultural area.
