Driving the Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia

Bummer!  Just a few miles up the Cabot Trail, I pulled off the road to let a few faster cars pass and upon pulling back onto the road:  "WHOOSH!"  The inside passenger side dually is FLAT.

The good news is the ferry went well, calm seas, was late leaving (didn't load until almost 11pm and left likely around midnight) and we arrived in port at 3pm.  All went well.

More good news is that a Truck Tire repair service is scheduled to come out in the morning to help us.  We have a spare but can't change an inside dually.

We have internet and cell phone service and are pulled off the road, about 3 miles north of the Gaelic College, where we stopped earlier.  It took a long time to find someone able to come out and their hour drive will cost us in the morning, but at least we're comfortable where we are.

Will report more later!

Hi Tessa, Flat tire - same thing happened to us while traveling in the Maritimes. Two times - both times it was the valve stem extension on our 30' LD. Inside dually. Have enjoyed your blog sooo much. Thanks for sharing. Clara Ellis
