Lunch today with Evelyn and Steve at the popular Lighthouse Restaurant was great fun! Although the waitress seemed to be starring in a Saturday Night Live skit, it only added to our quiet amusement. We had a delightful conversation, as quiet as we could, since the 6 other restaurant tables appeared to be observing “Silent Day.” It was all we could do to escape before erupting with laughter.

This morning, I emailed Gros Morne NP to reserve the 1pm Western Brook Tour. We plan to pick the tickets up after the 1.8 mile walk to the dock. Let’s hope this plan works!
