Alaskraton or “Holy Forest: is a small forrest measuring 12,00ha where you can see hundreds of monkeys in their natural habitat. It's one of the place in Bali where monkeys exist, free and peaceful. There are hundred of monkeys in this forest and high up on the big trees, there are many bats. I like monkeys, but only in the zoo, you never know what they will do. There was a warning, stay away from the monkeys! How, they came too me!!
Afer the monkeys it was time too see something else!
We drive through a beautiful area and make the necessary stops.
Dertilouwi is an area surrounded by rice fields, the view never bored.
Kadek looks at me and laughs, strange guest he must think. 'I asked him why, this is normal, I see it every day, you still in Holland. Well it was my turn just to smile. How stupid of me to assume that everyone knows how it looks to us. Kadek know better now!
We drive to the butterfly garden, a must see too, it was really breathtaking beautiful! The silence, not a tourist, and yes this happens to me there were only a few butterflies. The wrong time of year. Despite the few butterflies I would not want to miss this garden.
Back to the hotel, back to the hustle and bustle of Kuta! It was a great day and a promise for the rest of my stay.
