St. Peter's Basilica in the distance

I got up on time because I set my alarm, I took a shower and headed out to breakfast. I had cereal and pound cake. After breakfast we loaded up the bus, and traveled to a rest stop where we switched buses with another EF tour. One group was headed to Flornce and the one I was on was headed to the Roman Catacombs. We went to the other tours hotel and ate breakfast again. We met Elvera the other tour guide, and she took us to the Catacombs. We arrived at the catacombs and we got a brief history of the Roman Catholic Church, and then we proceeded down into the catacombs. I was amazed by how well thought these tomb were in the time that they were made. We walked three stories under the ground, and our guide said that the catacombs go up to eight stories deep.

St. Angelo's Castle
After we were done at the catacombs, Elvera took us down to within a half mile of St. Peter's Basilica. We stopped and took some pictures, and started our excursion across the city of Rome. Our first stop was Castel S. Angelo, Ted walked to the top of it while Wayne, Scott, Scotty, and myself waited down below. After we were done at there we proceeded back to Piazza Navona, where we picked up some pizza from the same place we ate on the first day. After we ate the pizza, we grabbed some gillato for the walk. We headed back by the Pantheon and took pictures of Rapheal's grave. After that we headed to Piazza Colonnia, where I found the AS Roma official store. I picked up two shirts and a key chain. We then headed down Via Del Tritone on our way to the subway.

We found the subway ticket stand and headed to the subway station. We caught the train and headed to the Stazione Termini, where we all took a nap in the McDonald's lobby. I woke up and walked around the terminal, where I found a Foot Locker and bought a new pair of Adidas. We all met back up and then headed outside to figure out where the bus was going to meet us. We figured that out and we still had about a hour left before we had to meet the bus, so, we walked across the street and went into some ancient baths where we all took some pictures and hung out. We then walked a little further down the road and we ran into S. Maria Maggiore. Inside I saw one of the largest pipe organs I have ever seen. After we took pictures we headed back to the train station and got on the bus. We headed to the same rest stop where we switched back to our bus. We heaeded back to our hotel where we freshened up and ate dinner. After dinner most of us stayed up and talked and I got to bed around 1:00am.
