After a long and tiresome journey to Krakow we got to our hotel Cracovia, after being in a hotel in Prague which was more of a glorified Hostel with hundreds of roudy Italiand phoning are rooms phones at 2am hotel Cracovia was like 5 star hotel! The food was fantastic and the staff friendly. On the first evening we headed out to the centre which was only a 5 minute walk we walked into a beautiful suare which was flood lit and had fire jugulars, there was a greta atmosphere which I'll never forget, there were great bars and restauarnts here to but the food was even better!
While staying In Krakow we spent a day trip at the saltmines! These are amazing with whole cathedrals carved out of salt, and yes it is salt I had the privilage of licking the walls to find out! The next day was a whole different experience we headed off to Auschwitz, this was a haunting day out which cannot really be described unless you have been there. After this we spent another day in the city.
After a few days here it grew on me and I can safely say this my favrioute city! After a very large breakfast at the hotel we got back on the road to make our way to Berlin, our final destination!
