London Eye
For our final day after checking out just before 11, we decided to explore Nottinghill a bit more and decided to hit Portabello Rd Market. Unfortunately by the time we got there, there wasn't much of a market however we did find a little gem hidden down a side street. We ended up finding 'The Travel Book Shop' which featured in the film 'Notting Hill'. Now i could have spent the rest of the day browsing all the different books within this little shop but we had more of London to see before our train back.
We decided since we hadn't been yet to go and see the main sites, this ranged from looking at both the London Eye (if your interested in in actually going on it i'd recommend booking the tickets in advance) and Big Ben. Next we wandered down past Trafalgar Square and down along too Buckingham Palace. Which whilst all these sights were interesting to see due to the good old British weather we didn't stick around for long.
With a few more hours to kill before our train ride back we decided to hit Oxford and Regeant Street for some shopping. Whilst jess found this alot more interesting than me personally that was until we found a certain store. This store happened to be Hamelys (a giant 7 story toy store), this shop was actually amazing full of hundreds of different toys i felt like a little kid again being inside a place full of so many toys. Finally it was time to head back to rainy old Wales and for now our travel was over.
