Trains. Trains!

Today, I go to the Big Smoke for an interview with a well known research agency.  I've managed to wangle an £11 ticket, so yay to me.  Then it is for some drinking in the capital prior to another train to Portsmouth tomorrow.

This is fascinating, isn't it?  Anyhoo, I'm sort of beginning to like London.  People who have known me for a long time will marvel at that statement because of the vehemence with which I poo-pooed the idea of ever living there.  But if life is about experiences, then it is another one on the way towards an inevitable death, so let's see where we go from there.

Mmm, I guess I need to get the job first.  Go me.  Later...

Later...

Go me indeed, so I have a job and now I am excited and scared in equal measure.  I can't get the Morrisey lyric out of my head: "I was looking for a job and then I found a job..."  You know the rest. So now it is all about actually finding somewhere to live.  Where the hell do you start? I really have no clue about this, so I inevitably went straight to facebook. :)  And now I have a viewing on Wednesday coming.  The Internet is weird.

I am enjoying it immensely, thank you. Never thought I'd say that.
