Unpacking and Gliding Back To Reality

Okay, okay... we all know reality is over-rated. Still, it is something we have to get back to at some point if for no other reason than to count the days until and earn money for our next travel adventure.

That being said...

Our wonderful time aboard Holland America's ms Westerdam came and went all too quickly. We had an absolutely wonderful time on the "KT and Friends 10th Anniversary Cruise." Whistles and noise makers, please! As always, Kathy Troccoli was inspiring as well as funny. We were treated also to Anita Renfroe's particular brand of wit and wisdom. Phillips, Craig and Dean were awesome, of course. And we were blessed to enjoy music from Selah and Bruce Carroll as well.

But moreover, we were able to reconnect with current friends and make new ones with whom we hope to share many more cruises and memories.

So for now, the laundry has been completed, warm weather clothes put away for a couple more months and luggage has been "stowed" until our next most excellent adventure.

We're hoping to visit our alma mater (Taylor University) in Upland, Indiana next month. But we'll have to see how that goes. We're mostly concerned about being able to get a room at this late date. We're also looking forward to a possible trip to Charlotte, North Carolina in July.

And of course, we're hoping to be on Holland America's newest ship, ms Eurodam, for the 11th Annual KT and Friends cruise in 2009. If you'd like further information about this wonderful cruise, please visit JRI's web site at www.ChristianCruises.com.

Until later, happy trails to all. Bon Voyage!
