Chilliout in Dahab

So finally the time has come to have a few days of work to search for the ultimate relaxation once again. This time after considering everything from Oman to Goa to Bangkok , the choice fell on Dahab , the holiday destination that i have been to 3 times before ! Some places you just keep coming back to !
The choice fell on Dahab as it is really the closest place to Europe where one can get tropical temperatures , and diving on coral reefs without having to go halfway cross the planet. Also it is much better then sharm el sheik , or any other tourist trap places in Egypt. But as we would learn - unfortunately quite impossible to escape the resort tourists , even in tranquil Dahab....
Me and my girlfriend just arrived yesterday, and went straight to the beachside restaurant for breakfast this morning.
For whatever reason Dahab seems to be a popular destination amongst rich russian families. Both last night and this morning we heard the high pitched sounds of russian banter wherever we went. This morning we were enjoying the sun and minding our own business when we were surrounded by a gang of small naked russian boys running around screaming and urinating 1 meter from our sunbeds. If that sounds annoying, add the mind boggling high chatter of their parents and friends , and the addition of a few more russian mothers breastfeeding their screaming babies , and you have what I would call a perfectly unrelaxing scenario.
We agreed to never have any children , and left the area.
I was quite frustrated after having done some freediving. My main reason for going to Egypt , and not some easier and cheaper to get to destination , like spain , was the diving. On the freedives I discovered I could not Equalize properly , which is all-important in the world of scuba diving.
So I went the the local doctor , doctor Achmed. I had my doubts that he would be able to help me , as I saw some doctors in England for the same problem 6 months ago , and they gave me no assitance , just told me it might be a slight infection , and I should wait some months till it passes. This doctor did`nt provide too much assurance , as he was constantly chucling a nervous laughter and telling me " Don`t worry`all the time (which obviously made me pretty worried).
Tomorrow is a new day , but no diving according to Doctor Achmeds orders , and another futile attempt on flushing will be made... .
