Icefields Parkway
Yesterday we left Banff National Park and drove down the Icefields Parkway, over the highest road in North America - where the ground is still snow-covered and there are glaciers! - and into Jasper National Park. The views have just got better and better - that's why there are so many landscape photos (sorry mum - I know how you like people pictures, sorry dad  - I know these pics are going to beat you in the photo competition... :D).

Along the way, we visted the gorgeous Peyto Lake and Athabasca Falls (where we saw a bear!! Thankfully going in the other direction...) before arriving at our campsite and exploring Jasper Town.  Today we're just bumming around town and tomorrow we're planning to go to Maligne Lake and go out on a row boat - we're acting like we're retired I know.  Though tomorrow night we may sample the delights of 'Pete's'  nightclub in Jasper  :D

Heading back to Banff on Sunday and then dropping the RV off back in Calgary on Monday before enduring another 2 day train journey back to Toronto - it's definitely been worth it though. Then it's back to civilisation to explore Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec City before placement starts.

Hope everyone is ok at home and beyond - speak soon - lots of love, Catherine x x x
