Vagator is less developed compared to the other beaches and has comparatively lesser options for travelers in terms of shopping and nightlife. There are lots of hotels and guesthouses along the beach and main road leading to the beach.
I visited Vagator beach at sunrise as it is less populated and much quieter. The walk up to the Vagator fort was much pleasant as the sun was rising. The track to the fort is very confusing and one has to choose path as per ones comfort. This was fun for me as it brought back lot of memories when I was in the college. This was our dating and partying spot away from the crowd. I met up with a friend in the morning and she was excellent company as she did not complain a bit the whole time trekking the fort.
We moved to a little mountain next to the fort and climbed down. It was a very steep climbing down and we did skid a few times on the loose gravel. This beach has lots of rocks and is a nice hide out for the coral life.
