With our faces still burned (although it was getting better, I could shave again) we begun the day with a ‘baguette’ with French cheese (no offense, but the Dutch cheese is better though) and tomatoes on it. Hmm, delicious. Then we got ready for our last day of skiing and having fun. The sun was still our friend so I had to cover my face again. The blisters were almost gone, but the pain was still there. At the end of the day the sun was getting so strong, the 4 days old snow was getting melted and the slopes were getting worse. So it couldn’t be better… in the beginning of the week there was new snow and for the rest beautiful weather and snow conditions. We had some crazy jumps and we went again to ‘Point Du Caron’ where we had this time actually a view. We saw the Mont Blanc and the view was wonderful.
Back in ‘Les Olympiades’ we packed our stuff and put in the car. We ate something and went to home at 17:00. After a whole night of driving we arrived back in Groningen at 08:00. Time to sleep and to dream about the fantastic week that I had with my friends and my passion (skiing). I could do this the whole year… but who wouldn’t.
