Staying along Aumpawa cannel :)
Aumpawa district is in Samuth-songkram province,
Fortunately, I didn’t go to exactly same place. This time I changed to touch Thai traditional living which most of people has stayed on the both sides of Aumpawa cannel. After tourism business has became the main economic system here. Most of their house has been renovated to be a homestay where has welcomed any tourist who want to learn and touch their lives. Moreover, they did it well. People are much more kindly than I’d expected. I was impressed with yummy foods, clean fresh air, beautiful environment and pretty local people.
I found the different way to stay in Aumpawa from our losing and mistaking of reception at Baan Suan Aumpawa where the resort that we‘d booked. He just said sorry for missing our reservation and gave us a pomelo for apologize. Poor us!! L So we had to find a new accommodation for our staying tonight. Then we back to the market village again. Eventually, we got one outstanding homestay as it was one vivid pink house in the dark color market village. It was named Reuan Sabai homestay. It was good with clean room and nice reception. We paid 7oo b. for sharing bath room, air con, TV. The price and reservation were quit similar in everywhere. But, we prefer the next homestay where was name Thanicha homestay where’s filled before we found as it had the private bathroom. :P
After we got the room for tonight we were ready to go to the firefly discovery time.
The little boat took us along the cannel and the driver guided us to notice at many Lampo trees ( i don't know what u call in English :P) which have been growth on the riverside. Wow!! The trees were showing light with the group of the fireflies. It looked like Christmas tree but was located in the wrong place. Importantly, it was without any electric light. All of it was happened from nature. I was enjoying that moment so much while was a bit jealous the other people on the boat as most of them were a love couple L Sorry for couldn’t take any picture of the brightness in the dark to show u as I’ve had only silly camera :P
I woke up in the early morning as Som needed to make a floating merit (to the monk in the boat) it was a very pretty picture that I must regret if I missed it.
J After eating breakfast and walking around the village we said goodbye to Aumpawa then drove to Tha-Ka Floating Market immediately. We took 15 minutes driving from Aumpawa, sound strange that we reached the market easily without any losing :P
Tha-Ka Floating Market has been preserved the tradition of floating market perfectly. Some local seller has exchanged their product with each other as in the past. It was not good business which earned high income. Importantly, it was about simply relationship between people in the village. That was so pretty, in my opinion. J Yummy foods which were so much cheap and kind local people impressed us. We ate a lot of good foods before left to the other floating market which was bigger and more expensive than, moreover there were much more tourist than Tha-ka. Dumnern sadoak floating market was not fit with us as it was too big and too crowd for us J
Summary:
-
Foods are so fabulous everywhere J
-
People is the most impressing of mine J
