We were going up to Mahakal Temple which i don't know anything about it.
We went to Mahakal temple but we passed another hotel before reach there. The way up to this hotel was so difficult, almost a right angle!! No idea how come we did climb it!! Were we spidermen??!! Wow.
The brother of the owner of this hotel was waiting for us at the entrance. He came to check who are we because the way we came is not the way that people should come!!! Sakue is his name. He's friendly as all Nepaleses. Sakue is an actor. My friend remembered him from the TV show, he played a joke movie :D Wow, we were talking with a Nepalese actor?? He invited us to go to the roof top which we can view the panorama of the entire eastern central Himalai. Wow!! He excused himself to take care of the tourists who just came.
View from roof top of Sakue's brother hotel, shame i can't remember the name :( But it's the same way to Mahakal temple
We went up there, i took video and my friend pretended to be an MC. Haha was so fun. I wonder how it could be stunning if we came here in winter!!
Sakue came back with Darbat, another favorite food in Nepal. It's like a curry with rice. Nepaleses eat it by hands, mix rice and curry by hands and eat. No spoon. It's an old traditional. My friend started first and then me, after i used my hands, Sakue was laughing out loud. He told me that he never seen any women who's not Napalese eat by hands before. You're crazy. So i said "I'm not a lady, don't you know?" His eyes were opened up wider. "Really?" Haha, " I'm joking, i'm a woman who's not quite a woman". My friend hurry nodded and said "yes, she's crazy!! very!!" Sakue laughed twice louder!!
Sakue told us after finish his brother hotel project, he will come to Thailand.
Darbat!! Sorry the pic is blur :(
He heard that Phuket is nice. I told him about other interesting places but he only wants to know about Phuket and Bangkok
. He thought it's civilize and he wants to go to pubs, night clubs and want to xxx with some women. The last thing almost made me throw the Darbat to his face. #$$&*!!! He said in Nepal, he has to wait to stay together with Napalese women after the marriage. Being together before marriage is against morality. (Actually so does my country). And he heard a lot about Thailand. I don't know what to say, what he heard it's true. But i was sad that he wants to come to Thailand for that reason. He said he also wants to see bangkok night life and will adapt it to his hotel. He will make it to be the first entertainment hotel in Nagarkot
Sakue will build new hotel on that green empty space :(
I was disappointed. Sakue pointed to an empty field which it's gonna be the next building soon. I asked him "Don't you want to keep it as a beautiful land like this?" He told me that he sees these lands for all of his life and now if he just builds his guesthouse here in his own land, there still has other lands in the country. I don't agree, so does my friend. If everybody thought the same way, Nepal might has been changed. We tried to explain how worth to keep it but he has wants to own his own business. He thought having a hotel which full of entertainment stuff can make more money from tourists and can make him rich. He will bring the civilization from thailand to use it in his country. Civilization??
I don't want him to come here, i swear.
Peace and calm
I don't want him to take something from here to bring it back to destroy his country nature. But nothing left to say. It's his land, his thought, his life. I can't change anything. So we excused ourselves to go back to Nirvana because we weren't happy anymore.
Sakue asked me to come to the party tonight but i said no, thanks but tonight my friend will make chocolate cake for us. Then he asked me to send us to Kathmandu tomorrow by motorcycle. I denied, only two people can sit on motorcycle so what about my friend? Thank you but no.
We walked back with an empty heart, sooner or later Nagarkot will change? I don't like the way he thought but i impressed the way he treated us.
Half-Half, land and sky
And thank you for the first Darbat which had made me ordered Bolet to make another dish for me for dinner.
Bolet asked me "Are you sure you're gonna leave us tomorrow?". At first we wanted to leave Nagarkot tomorrow since we had postponed once. But the more we live, the more we learn so we decided to stay here for one more night (3 nights now haha) then I smiled and asked him "Can i stay here for one more night?" Bolet said "For you, you can stay here everyday and forever. You know, I have never met someone like you. (Again, Baba did say that once). He continued : "Like you means you are nice , frank, free, friendly and smile. So if you want to stay you can stay here as long as you want." Om, chanti. great. Say Samwo...good!! Since i was here, i can count how many words i talked to Bolet because i always talked to Baba.
Chocolate cake, my friend did.
But what he said to me ... Say Samwo!!!
Then Bolet went down to bring cheese and onion soup for me. My friend went to make cake too. I got a new friend who just came, Bicho. He's napaleses, same age as mine. Bicho is talkative and friendly. He lives in Japan and came back to visit his country. He's a marketing for Nepal water company.
About the water, before i came here people said don't drink unseal the bottle of water. Water in the restaurants sometimes it's been boiled but most of the time's not. My thai friends told me it's best to pass unless you know what you're drinking. There has various brands of bottled water ; Mineral water, Seven or Everest. People said that some tests have found unhealthy levels of germs in sterilized water.
Some bottle in the restaurant is not seal, it's refill. Moreover, the plastic bottles that water comes in are not recyclable (in Nepal). But i drank all, water in a bottle with good seal or water from the tank or unseal bottled water which they had refilled or refilled water for 5 rupees per litr. I thought it wasn't unhealthy as we think. I drank every kind of water and i am fine until now. Not suffer of diarrhea. Napalses can drink, so do I. I think in Nirvana and Nagarkot are not dirty but some places i have been in Kathmandu is. I told my friends in thailand about the dirty. They said "You said it's dirty that means it's much more dirty" ... As they know that i am very dirty person haha in our gang and if i was the one who said that, that means it should be the worst!
Actually no, not worst.
When you look at this photo, you might not see anything but you hear something from where you sit. But when i was there and took this photo, i only saw a magic without any noise. That's why i really love Nagarkot at night.
I was in their country so i was being apart of Napaleses, eat what they eat. Sit where they sit. I can tell that places that i sat in public might be places that were spitted from thousand Napaleses. The Ducha glasses might has been washed in the water which already washed a hundred glasses without changing water. A spoon for Momo might be a spoon which doesn't wash by washer liquid. But i did, i ate, i sat, i slept, i peed as same as Nepaleses did. I learned a lot from this. If i was scared too much, i could miss a good thing and i don't want to.
