Out to dinner at an Italian restaurant
So Eric and I reported for work this morning at 9am and started training at the concierge desk. Concierge desk in America entails helping guests with directions, hotel reservations, tour reservations and general information. Here, I’m a bellhop. I moved luggage for 8 hours. I moved luggage to room, moved luggage to storage, moved luggage to motorcoaches, moved luggage from one room to another… Not to mention lifting luggage. I am not strong enough for this job. After my 9 hour shift (1 hour was lunch) I was exhausted. All I wanted to do was curl up in bed and sleep but we had made plans with Professor Back from school to go to dinner. We went out to dinner at an Italian restaurant that one of his friends own. After that we went to grab our passport and went to Lucky 7 Casino. This casino is filled with Japanese and Chinese gamblers. The casino does not let in native Koreans to gamble either. The casino was something that reminded me of a casino you would find on the side of a highway in a rural town. Then we went to the Hyatt for a beer & to enjoy the view. I’m exhausted.
