Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra
Today started off slow. We ate lunch at the canteen then went to Myeongdong to go shopping. After a few stores we raced back to the hotel to meet with Kelly’s friend, Ann, from the food & beverage department. Ann took us back to Myeongdong for massages. Kelly and I got to the place and it was not what we expected. We changed into white t-shirts and baggy burnt orange shorts and soaked our feet. Then we were escorted upstairs for our massages. Apparently we got a couple’s massage because they put us in the same room. You also keep your top on and they massage you through the clothes. PAIN. We didn’t know how to say “softer” or “a little lighter.” Kelly and I got seriously beat up. We’re going to compare our backs tomorrow and have a bruise contest.
We headed back to the hotel for dinner in the canteen. It was horrible. We got the boys and headed out to the Grand Children’s Park to see Eunjoo and a performance by the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra. Then we caught the metro to Myeongdong for some food and walked around for a while before catching the hotel shuttle home.
