Around 1pm, my brother and I headed over to the Concord and Lexington area's to go to MinuteMan National Park. We found a little parking area, parked and then set off down the trail. Its never a good sign when you get on a trail and a huge tree is blocking your path. It was recent so it probably came down the the Nor'Easter we had a few days back, the trail was washed out to, and some area's were still flooded. This did not stop us from making it to the end of the trail where we realized we went the wrong way. So after getting back to the parking area we noticed the trail wen off in the opposite direction as well, and we headed that way. We finally made it to the visitors center where we were welcomed by more storm damage, two employes, and a tiny little mouse. I caught the mouse for them and offered to relocate it, we gave it the name Lexi- the Minute Mouse, I put the mouse in a box got my National Park passport book stamped and we headed back to the car. We had run out of time to see the other 1/2 of the park which contained the Paul Revere Capture Site. We also did not make it to the Minute Man Statue. Instead we got back on the highway to fight traffic so I could drop my brother off at work on time.
On the way home from dropping him off I stopped by Friendly's and picked up 2 Jim Dandy ice creams and brought them home to enjoy with my aunt over an episode of NCIS.
