In Zadar.....
July 20, 2007
Well, yesterday we left Kaštel Kambelovac. It was so sad. I cried actually. I am so happy with the experiences and the people that Ive met there. I will miss Sara, the Norweigian, the most. And ofcourse, Nikola. We had a really nice night sitting on the beach drinking red wine and talking about everything. Its not fair.......I just want to take him with me. I invited him to join us in Zadar but work got in the way......as usual. I hope that someday we will meet again......but he will always be my croatian boyfriend (even if it was only for a week). So, Mar and I took a 3 hour bus to Zadar and are staying in a pretty standard youth hostel. We met up with a Mexican and a Belgium guy at the bus station and cruised around the city for a few hours and got dinner.
Today, Mar and I will be participating in a Guinnes World Record! I think its the largest human jump into the ocean in the world......Im some number in the 600s. It should be interesting. And random, actually. Whatever. Mar and I miss Kaštel alot. We were in a bubble there. It felt like time had stopped and nothing else in the world was happening except our little romances, the music festival, the beach, and of course, the wine. It makes me sad to know that I will most likely never see any of these people again. Its indescribable, really. But, everyone has said that my house is open to them whenever I am in Europe. Okay, well, we are off shopping and to set a world record (weird sentence, no?). I love ya guys and I will see you in about 2 weeks! Lana
