Where to find fresh and affordable sea food in Mandurah ?

I was brought to this place by a friend who had been around this area for a while… (who also apparently culinary tourism lover). It was not a restaurant, it was a sea food store, with frozen raw sea food, and cooked ones. The place is next to the Thai restaurant (called “Thai on the Terrace”), on Mandurah Tce, its name is “Peel Fisheries”. They got collections of crabs (which was normally our main target), besides some varieties of cooked prawns, oysters, and clams.

Since it was not a restaurant, we normally bought our selection of take aways, then headed to nearby park (just across the street). Not far from the complex, you can find the other restaurants and cafes, which was very convenient if you just want to hang out or stroll around. The shops complex (they got department store, liquor store, ATMs, and some boutiques) were just few blocks away. This place can be easily reached by train and bus. From Perth Underground Stn, proceed to Mandurah line which will take you all the way to the last stop (around 40 minutes).  Take any bus from Mandurah Stn to Mandurah Tce (around 10-15 minutes). During festivals, they also provide free shuttles, such as the Crab Festival which was held on 12-March-2011.
