Parade through the streets of Moshi
I had a great nights sleep, and woke to the lovely African singing in the street. I did not see my friend today, they were not feeling 100%. After breakfast I walked with someone that I'd met in the hotel up to the far end of the town to the library, browsing into some of the shops on the way. A watermelon juice was a good idea again before going back to the hotel to meet with Amanda Natai from African Scenic Safaris, I booked a 3 night Safari for the following week. That afternoon was spent around the Keys Hotel, I could not believe the size of the birds that were flying above, it was the Marabou Stork. The hotel was busy, it was the Kilimanjaro Marathon on Sunday and people were registering there. My friend that I met in the hotel was due to fly back that evening so we went to the Precision Air Office to confirm the flight times and found that they also run a bus for 10,000 TSH to the airport. Later back at the Osy Grand I went up on the roof top to watch some parades that were happening. Lots of singing and dancing through the streets. That evening I had a meal with Jill in the Osy Grand, very tasty again all fresh ingredients used.
