Kiron’s Reflections on London
After visiting my family in New York, we flew to London, England. In London, I stayed at my uncle’s house (Teva, Bitten, and Linnea) in the middle of London. On the top of their house you see the London Eye and downtown London. There is an awesome building that looks like a rocket and I could see a bunch of other small things. The first thing we did was go to the tube (the underground train) and ride towards downtown London. When we got to as far as we could go on the tube we took the double Decker bus to downtown (all the buses in London are double deckers because so many people ride them). It was amazing. There was a place where there were tons of skateboarders. On the street we saw acrobats, hip hop dancers, and musicians.
The time change was tough for me because we got to England at 11 O’clock PM Oakland time but 8 o’clock in the morning England time. It was really confusing I couldn’t fall asleep on the plane! (Well you try falling asleep at 8) It was an all nighter! In three days we went to many places: London Eye, Buckingham Palace, Tower of London, Museum of Natural History, Tate Modern, Science Museum.
