From Joburg we fly to Maputo the Capitol from Mozambique, we thought it was cheaper, to book a ticket to pemba on the airport, but it wasn`t it was very expensive! But the next day we can fly to Pemba, so we did, and we had a night over in Maputo in a backpacker hostel, we discover Maputo and order a pizza, but without cheese on top it was a very poor pizza, but welcome to Africa!

The next day, we had a early flight to Pemba, we had stopovers in whole Mozambique, late afternoon we arrived at Pempa Airport, we where lucky we vind a taxi, it brought us to a hostel, far from the beach from Pemba, but the owner was kindly and drive us to the Beach, it was a sunday, and whole local people where on the beach, we drink and eat something in a beach tent, called the owner for a pick up, and we went back to the Hostel, where we seat in the garden.

Pemba Beach

We where so tired, that we decided. that we fall in sleep. The next morning, we want to have a shower, we had a beautifull sharing bathroom, but no water at all. So we decides to go, no taxi for a pick up, we need money so we went first to the bank, what takes us almost the whole morning, next stop after  the bank we found a car hire, where we after, a long time discus abouth the price for a 4 x4 car, then I say omething in Swahili the price get lower and lower, nice to speak other language! So it was later and later, finally we can look for a other sleeping place, we drive to the beach and there we found all kinds of accomodations, most where fullybooked, but we found 1, we tested water in the bathroom, Yes we can shower!
