Kayangan Lake in its splendour and serenity was still there. Still untouched, very nature. However, I noticed that the tourist traffic was thicker this time. It seems that Coron as a travel destination has finally been found by the world. I could see a lot of foreigners who were simply astounded by the rock formations at Barracuda Lake.
I tried something new this time. I did a lot island hopping and snorkeling. The corals at Calumboyan island are not to be missed. It is best to travel in a group and divide the cost of the banca and the buffet lunch. We did a picnic under the trees at Calumboyan over barbecued pork, some seaweeds dipped in spicy vinegar, salty eggs and tomatoes, some chicken and grilled fish. Yum!
We went to Barracuda beach, the gunboat wreck (ruins of WWII ships), the Twin Lagoon, the Twin Peaks. A lot of snorkeling, all nature, and gorgeous rock formations.
