This is our 3rd day of class and the internet started working in our room yesterday, I posted some pictures for your enjoyment, i am actually really liking german class, Our class schedule is not that busy we have 3 classes and german. We are hoping to travel to milan this friday for a day trip and then get some homework done on sat and sunday, we already have tons of projects. The food is ok every morning i have yougurt, and lunch varies and dinner varies. My roommate is awesome her name is Jackie and we have a lot of things in common she is also from the Charlotte Campus. We are eating much healthier now, I swear they are trying to fit in all food groups during every meal. But today was a big deal we got chocolate for the first time and it was awesome, we only got 2 pieces but that was a big deal and here they is caffine like sodas but i haven't had a soda since the airplane ride, I am so proud of myself. The beds are really small can maybe fit one person and one body pillow and the pillows are very feathery and become flat quick, so I bought a pillow to make it sorta even. I feel that even though my bags weighed 47 pounds each, I brought the bare minimum with me. We do have a tv in the room but the only english clannel is CNN and we have been just listening to music. The town that we are in is beautifully small, 6 stores, 2 restaurants, 1 cafe and 2 operating hotels, ferry station and bus stop. Blythewood has more to offer than this little village. Our room is quite quaint but it seems that we dont have enough light, but maybe because we are down in the valley of huge mountains surrounding us. The view outside is georgous and it snows almost every day lightly but it does. For now I need to start reading and doing some homework, so to sign off for now. I miss everyone and I love you guys back home. Amanda Millar
