Last Day at Benjamins

Today was our last day at Benjamins Hut and on the island of Koh Phangan, so it was kind of a somber type of day. We had been staying here for the last three weeks, by far the longest we had planned on staying anywhere. Our original plan was to be there for about a week, so that tells you how nice a place it is at Benjamins. We started by cleaning our room up so Pau and Got wouldn’t have too much work to do. Then it was breakfast time, Pau knew it was our last day and the jokes were flowing as we ordered our breakfast. The staff knew what day we were leaving because so many people had been inquiring about the beach front bungalow we had been occupying with no intent of vacating. We had defiantly drawn the ire of some guest who were jealous of our bungalow as it was the best on the whole premise and they wished they were in there. We didn’t have to leave till later so we hung on the beach with Nando, Fatboy, and Joe to do some chillin before it was off to Thong Sala to catch the boat to Koh Samui, stay there for the night then fly back to Phuket to meet our friend Bob- Joe being the great host he was gave us a ride to the port in his kick ass truck, and all the staff came out to say good bye, hugs all around. I will definitely be making my way back here some day, that was a good three weeks.
