just docked in limassol!
Well after a wonderful time in Egypt, and sitting behind one man on our bus that was coughing the whole day... grrr.... we were feeling a little under the weather for the next port of call, Cyprus. On top of that, it was a rainy day, and very cold and windy. I actually love rain and really don't mind it . it was even leaking in on us from the bus we took while on the ship's excursion, "Kourion, Temple of Apollo and Omodos Village." This was the first time we ever booked a ship's tour, and it may be the last. As expected, we were piled in with way too many people, and bussed around like cattle, all the while feeling the cold we had caught from the coughing guy (seriously how hard is it to cover your mouth when you cough??). Well, our day in Cyprus was short, and we were rushed so much in our large group that we didn't get to spend the quality time in each place that we would've liked. Still, Kourion was really lovely, the ruins were nice, and the ocean looked beautiful with the rain coming down around it. I loved Omodos Village, it is an adorable little medieval village and we enjoyed some of their Commanderia wine (i think it is the oldest recipe for wine :)
