Every day for the week generally comprised getting up at about 11am and having a delicious breakfast, then grabbing the sunloungers and beach bag and heading to the beach for the day, usually until 5pm or so. I enjoyed reading The Times, doing the crossword and sudoku puzzles, while Jill worked on her tan. We also played a few games of batball (269 was our highest) and bools (sp?) which were fun.
On our first day we went for lunch in The Orange Kiwi which was nice, and on the last day (Saturday) the market was in town, which was good for a stroll through. People travel from all over the Costa Brava, and even the South of France, just for this market, and the place goes from being quiet to being jampacked with people! Then on Saturday evening as these people drift away back to their hometowns, the place resumes to its normal state!
It was a great trip, it was so nice to be able to get a week of stress-free relaxation! We were sad to be coming home but the real world was calling so what could we do! Keep an eye out for my reviews, I'll be pointing out info about the following: Empuriabrava itself, The Orange Kiwi, El Capitan, El Churasco, Si Kim Bar, The Barazza, Bahia De Oro, Pattaya, Port Grec and more!
