Table Rock Road

We left the jobsite in Idaho Falls and are on our way East. Dad is definitely heading home to NJ , but I'm not sure if I am going to New Jersey or Baton Rouge just yet. Meanwhile work has halted again for the the next two weeks and for all we know it could be two months.. I don't really understand the delay as we know there are plenty of windfarms going up in the country.. I heard that weather in some of the places has caused delays in the construction of the wind farms, but that could just be rumors..
While driving East through Wyoming i decided to finally stop and check out this abandoned and EXTREMELY isolated housing community outside of Wamsutter.. The community of houses on Table Rock Rd were apparently built for employees of a nearby gas plant and they look like they have been abandoned for maybe five years.
I couldn't help but feel that there were eyes watching my every step.. It was very big brotherish. From a few houses I could hear the busy chirping and fluttering of what sounded like a colony of birds and other houses were simply just silent and almost projecting a feeling of disapproval.. LIke I said it was an eerie street!
I plan to return again with more time to explore and hopefully in the near future. I want to take photos of the street with different lighting and actually enter some of those houses.. I had to return to the Interstate and catch up with my father in Rawlins..
