Lovers received roses or other precious gifts.
I remembered last year Anna, Dennis and I, we had organised a lovely Valentine's day meetup.
It was really a wonderful moment.
This year Valentine's day has brought to us, my husband and I a very unusual meaning in our life.
Our beloved cat, Moeky, had said goodbye to us on this day in the afternoon before 5pm.
When she grabbed her last breath the church bell went ringing.............
There she is.......... taking the ride travelling to the Big Cat's World!
Going thru the period when she was sick was really heartbroken!
Knowing that she will be taking the ride travelling to the Big Cat's World forever in not sure the number of days, that is even more sucks!
That moment I thought to myself, each day is really a gift and blessings.
At that moment in time I really hate so much to say goodbye............
Someone once said:
I've had to say goodbye more times that I would have liked.
But everyone can say that, and no matter how many times we do it,
even is for the greater good,it still stinks.
And thou we'll never forget what we've given up.
We owed it to ourselves to keep moving forward.
What we can't do is, live our lives always afraid of the next goodbye.
Becoz chances are they are not going to stop.
The trick is to recognise when a goodbye can be a good thing,
when is a chance to start again.
I wish Moeky a pleasant journey, she is really a great companion bringing us joy and laughter in our life, even during her last moments.
