Three-nations tour: part 2

The road to Liechtenstein was an absolute record for me: in 53 minutes I visited no less then 4 countries! Starting in Germany I crossed the border to Austria, even had the time to have lunch at an Austrian Mc Donald's, then continued to Switzerland where I lost time again at the border and finally ended up in one of the smallest countries in Europe; Liechtenstein.
Yes: I confess...the reason why I wanted to go to Liechtenstein so bad was just an act of country-collecting. But after three days in this fantastic little principality I found out that this country deserves so much more than just a short visit to go that souvenir-stamp in your passport. Liechtenstein is great!
Liechtenstein's capital Vaduz is where I spent my first day: walking around the classy centre of this tiny "city", wandering around the vineyards just outside Vaduz and looking for chocolate and stamps... The days after I explored the mountains of Liechtenstein: the snow in the highest part, Malbun, the green slopes in the lower mountains where I even went camping in the wild. A cold, but unforgettable experience! Very impressed by this small paradise, hidden in the Alps, I left the country again on the third day and continued to Switzerland.
