The old town of Krakow, Poland

During another coffee break in the office of the Logistic Centre of Sony Playstation, where I used to work, the great idea was born to go to Poland together with a Polish and a Colombian colleague! Three nationalities, three crazy guys, three cheap tickets, and two countries to go to.

Our trip started in the hometown of my Polish colleague, Rybnik, where we met his parents. All nice and decent... From there on it only got worse and worse... :) First was a visit to Krakow: a beautiful old studentcity with a nice centre, a fortress that dominates the old town and a nice nightlife where we had a nice party. From there we went to Zakopane, a city in the Polish Tatra Mountains that is famous for its wintersport accomodations and the ski jump. Here we saw Poland playing its Euro Cup match (football) against Germany, and after a visit to Slovakia we came back to Rybnik for a last night of partying.

That night the Dutch national team played against France and won with 3-0 against France. That had to be celebrated and resulted in a wild night with a lot of Polish beer, whisky and a lot of fun. Still drunk and too tired, but very fullfilled we drove back to Holland the day after.
