My favorite castle!
So, we were on and off the euro rail so much and so fast that I can't remember what happened where for the most part. But I remember Frankfurt pretty well. Shoe shopping is really one of my favorite things to do in Germany. They're typically inexpensive, but more importantly, CUTE. We went to castles, one of them had horse drawn carriages that took us up the steep mountain to the castle. And that might have been the same castle where we met this crazy old guy who worked in the kitchen area, and he took us into a room for the chefs, but only to show us a breath taking view of the snowy Alps and a really old bridge that went across one of the fairly distant mountains! That was definitely my favorite castle. Sorry I don't remember the name of it. Munich was a neat city, too. The train station looks absolutely futuristic and crazy, because of how many train tracks were set up right next to each other, and then they went out both ways as far as the eye could see. And we had to walk across a bridge that went across it all. The buildings there are super close together, and for the most part really really tall. And I think they were kind of skinny, too. It's just a place kind of like any other I've seen. It looks very German, but it looks very different at the same time. I loved it!
