The trip to Tulsa

It was Friday and Marcelo and I needed to go to Tulsa to visit a factory of concrete pavement breaking machines. We got up pretty early in the morning and drove for 7 hours straight under the rain. Fortunately the weather was a lot better when we got up there. The tour to the factory was ok, but I expected it to be better and more comprehensive. But at least one of the workers invited us out for dinner and drinks for the night! That sounded like cool.
He took us to this Twin Peaks place and as you can imagine the sights over there were BEAUTIFUL. Much better than HOOTERS, I would say. The food and the music were also awesome! I had a great time. Then we went to another bar for live music. The band would play anything from Metallica to Michael Jackson, so it was fun for everyone. I drank quite a few chilled southern comfort shots with lime, they were awesome! I also did a lot of coronas, but for some reason I did not feel drunk. It seems to happen since Mardi Gras, I don’t know why but I seem to have no hangovers after a long night of drinking! We got back to the hotel at about 2 AM straight to sleep! We would still have a long day the next day.
