One slight problem, how do I go under, hmmm ... Many TB'ers offered to train me but once there at Hanauma Bay, like a fish, they were all gone instantly ... others like Daniel tried to encourage me ... though I swim, I've never done this and how do I see the beauty without my glasses or should I say bottle caps ...
Sitting at the beach began to rub on my sunscreen and V asked if I'd like to have something to eat as she was returning to the snack bar ... I gave her some 'coin' and within a flash V was back with a delicious lunch ... thanks V
I realized one thing, I wouldn't be going out in the bay to see it :( so I took my camera and went as far as I could and watched closely and sure enough the fish began to appear to my amazement .
V doesn't swim but wanted to see the fishes :) so all of a sudden I was excited ... I could support her as she walked out in the water, encouraging her to walk further, jump over the odd rock and look at the fish swimming about ... we even took the under-water camera of Aloha_Keith's to take some pics but limited # of fish Daniel offered to take pics on our behalf ... thanks Keith and Daniel!
V was getting nervous the further out we walked ... I want her to come out with me into the open waters ... but knew inside that wouldn't be safe so when she truly felt nervous I did a 180 and began to return where V would be on safe, non-slippery rocks and enjoy the view from the beach ... the TB'ers swimming all hadn't returned so V and I walked around the bay to the furthest point talking away and discussing fish verses fishes ... unfamiliar to me, in Canada I never heard of pluralizing the word fish ... the simple conversations of Hanauma Bay but with the fish everywhere why wouldn't that be your main topic and if you need a fish interpreter or describer talk to Keith, I call him my official fish dictionary! :)
The crew slowly surfaced and soon enough we were headed out ... with all that swimming many were a tad bit hungry ...
Can't wait to meet the new TB'er at our next destination and what comes of that will follow!
