Museum De Fundatie (Zwolle & Heino)

On my way to âMuseum de Fundatieâ (located at the Blijmarkt 20) I walked the historical city centre.
The collection of the museum, housed in a former palace, consists of old and contemporary art based on the collection of the founder, Dirk Hannema (1895-1984).
My reason to visit the museum was the temporary exhibition: âPortraits of a Loveâ by Marte RĂ¶ling (until May 24th 2010).
Marte RĂ¶ling, a known Dutch female artist, painted 55 portraits of Henk Jurriaans after his passing away in 2005. All the paintings are 2 x
The paintings are her personal love story after living together for 36 years.
âMuseum de Fundatieâ has another location; âKasteel (castle) Het Nijenhuisâ in Heino/Wijhe.

At this moment (until March 14th 2010) there is an exhibition of a known Dutch actor and painter, Jeroen KrabbĂ©. This exhibition of colourful paintings is called âUnknown Horizonsâ.
