Arrived at Taipei on 1st Jan 2010, the nice and huge airport did impress me a lot. I head towards Ye Lu , a town at the coast line immediately after I touched down. After visited Ye lu, I must say I am not impressed yet with Taipei. Not until I visited Shi Ling night market. The crowd was incredibly pack but not annoying - surprisingly, probably the nice weather (20 degreee C). Plenty of nice thing to see and FOOD (my one biggest weakness :-).
Taipei , the city itself is well developed, traffic system is convenient, people are friendly, the most importatant of all, the country is very clean and they do a very nice job saving environment. As I speak Mandarin too, that makes thing pretty easy for me. We (9 of us) rented a bus where the driver took us from Taipei to TaiChung (middle of Taiwan) and to the south (up to the mountain ) where the scenery is unbelievable Europe like. I must say after Norway trip, Taiwan is the most memorably trip for me, not only I enjoyed travelling with all my friends this time, the culture , the weaher, overall is a very pleasant journey where I would remember for years.
