with thw MUNI metro map
Dan, that we met yesterday in the Hostel joined us for this day. He stayed here alone for just two nights and didnt know what to see anyway. First we went to the Golden Gate Park and visited the Science Center. The ticket was kinda expensive = 25$, but you can cut it with your student pass and public transportation ticket (yes, that's great, if you show that you came there by bus your entrance ticket will be 3$ less!). This place is very interesting, they have the show about stars - pretty cool - the rainforest with tropic animals and plants and several aquariums, incuding this huge underwater tunnel, where the water is surrounding you from above, also the white aligator and the living roof. Quite interesting thing. Then we walked a bit through the botanical garden and afterwards had lunch at the pakistani place.
Next stop was Golden Gate Bridge (again), cos Dan wanted to see it, and we didnt mind, although we didnt cross the bridge this time. After having seen the brigde we caught the bus to the Fine Arts Museum, which was on the way to downtown. Here we passed again at the most croocked street (Lombard st.) and went with the cable car to Pier one (we wanted to visit the cable car museum on the way down, but it was already closed). At the pier 1 we asked about some shows or clubs and the guys from the coffeshop gave us some tips. We took the Muni metro and found this theatre - 'Orpheum' ?
We went into and... they played 'Wicked' and we got into that play just in time, 10minutes before they started, and got even cheap tickets. The play was a musical, pretty nice one.
