walk of fame
We left Vegas and took the highway to California... surprisingly it was raining the whole time in the desert, so that we saw even the fake lake -  bothsides of the highway shortly after Vegas. Kinda weird view. Then we stopped for food and/or coffe, but there was only this horrible 'caffe americano' in the fastfoods which sucks, so i skipped it, and RJ took just some poison (=junk food). As we came closer to LA the clouds were fewer and fewer and finally we got wonderful sun weather as we reached Hollywood. Yes, we were crashing at Hollywood Blvd. Then we left the bags in the hostel, with our new room mates who made the room a horrible messy place. Then we started to search for parking.

.. and we searched and searched and we almost cryed...
Finally we went to that underground parking lot at this walk of fame or how is it called. Here we had the coffe (pretty good one, so that kLumpel took two!!! - i dont know if he was so desperated or so pissed off because of the parkings). Then we went by metro to downtown... which is more or less... nothing too see hahaha. Anyway we went to see that Disney concert hall, close to the City Hall and went a bit around, but there was nothing to see plus RJ said it sucks ;)
As the sky turned dark we went back to Hollywood Blvd/Vermont to meet other travbuddys. <the place is called "1739 Public House" and is on 1739 Vermont St.>  As we were the first ones we waited for others to come. Then ppl started to come, and the beer/food time began.

They had happy hour which means they gave you free pizza to every beer. And that way we had more pizzas as we were able to eat and even new comings could have a piece of it. That was cool. The other great thing about that place was, that they had plenty of different beers... the most surprising was: Chimay! The belgian Chimay is one of the best beer ever! I've drunk it only in Bruxelles and couldnt find it elswhere.
The night was great, because i met all the people i knew from TB or i just saw them on the pics. Now i could talk to them. Of course i had to goofy with Melanie --> btw Mel, where are 'these' pictures? I've never seen them!
Then we got back to the hostel. The room mates were horrible, they played TV loudly at night, kept the door open in the midle of the night and were just dirty... from what i've heard - they were germans or austrians, and didnt match with the 'Ordnung' at all! we barely could sleep that night.
