People told me that the town of Lysekil is worth a visit so we went there for some sightseeing. What people didn't tell me was that it's even more crowded than Smögen and Fjällbacka in summer :( I do like people but I don't like crowds ;) Therefore it was just a short visit.
Since the highway E6 is the fastest north-south connection we decided to stay at the campground of Uddevalla over night to have the best start next morning.
The campground is located 8 km west of Uddevalla at the banks of the Byfjorden. It's really a beautiful place to stay. Unfortunately due to the heavy rains the weeks before parts of the place where still flooded and we had to stay at a place next to the campground. But we didn't mind, at least it was halfway dry ;)
After a shower and a good dinner we made a walk across the place and watched the sun setting. I don't know why but sunsets in Scandinavia are always better than the ones in Germany. I bet it's because of the less polution in the air ;)
