After a hectic 2009, lost of studying, cancelled travel plans and the special care of our children, we want to start the new year in a nice and relax atmosphere. My wife Jacqueline is very handy on the Internet searching for cheap deals and she found this parc of the organization of Landal Greenparcs called "landgoed 't Loo". A last minute deal booked two months before arrival. ( so last minute....?). With the help of king winter the parc was beautiful white and also the surrounding area. This was not so unique because 3/4 of Europe was covered with snow, but i didn't know the last time i saw this so white.
It was a bungalow with a sauna, solarium and a nice fire place, on the edge of the lake, and because the busy Christmas season was over, it was nice and quiet.
The parc was still in Christmas decoration, so we took at day one a couple of pictures before they removed all the lights. During the cold and snowy days we spent some times in the Forrest, walking and walking and when we came back on the parc it was time for the real Dutch winter food "erwten soep with roggebrood met spek"( i think in English it's pea soup with rye bread and bacon.)
So after four day's we had to leave , but with a clear mind, soft and clean skin and reloaded batteries, ready for 2010.
