I was only planning to visit Madurai, because the Great Temple was truly drawing my attention.. after that, I looked for where I could visit in South of India.. Thanjavur (Tanjore) jumped out.. world heritage listed in 1987 around Madurai?? of course! it's a place I should go for sightseeing.. after some studied of the Brihadishwara Temple, which is built by Rajaraja Chola I.. It, absolutely, is a place I need to visit..
To be frankly, after the trip of Madurai and Trichy, I was a bit tired for such long journey.. apart from being among the people who look at you as an alien; seeing the view very difference from my own country; being worry if I could catch my coach back to Chennai later, I am delight that I got a chance to visit such remarkable architectures..
I was extremely luckily that the Brihadishwara Temple closed at 20:00.. I could just made it and enjoyed the sunset view with this brilliant world heritage.. moreover, I could image how it had a good shine as the original created purpose..
