Temple of the Blessed Virgin Sign
Description:
Dubrovitsy (Дубровицы) is unpopular, but one of the most beautiful estate in Moscow Region now. The village with similar name was founded in 1182. Earl Boris Golitsin (He was a mentor of russian tsar Peter I (Peter the Great)) has bought this village in 1688. Immediately, he has started to build a new estate in european style in Dubrovitsy. Tsar Peter I has unveiled the temple of the Blessed Virgin Sign in 1704. This temple was built in unique style that mixed up russian and european architectural styles of that time.

Now:
It is very clear nice place. Palace and park were restored some years ago. Palace Temple is restoring now.
Open hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm

How to get:
By car or by transport in two steps (extreme variant if you travel alone or don't know russian):
1.
Palace on front
Railway (commuter/suburban train) - from Kurskiy Vokzal (Курский вокзал) to Podol'sk (Подольск) = 3$ per ticket and ~1 hour. You can get to Kurskiy Vokzal by metro (it is situated at metro station Kurskaya (Курская)). Podol'sk is a middle-size city at 15km from Moscow on south.
2. Then you should go to the railway station's square in Podol'sk and get a small bus(we called them "marshrutka", it will cost about 1$ per ticket) №15 or №65. It take you directly to Dubrovitsy estate, but it does not final stop for bus - be careful and look at the right-side windows of bus for Temple of the Blessed Virgin Sign building.

Also you may use a taxi, I think it will be cost about 60-100$ (don't pay more!) in one way.

Lunch:
Get your lunch with you from Moscow. I don't remember any restaurant or cafe there.

Money:
Transport + food + museum (but I don't know price and they have tour in english or not).

Warnings:
Please, plan your trip beforehand, use maps. Don't expect any notice in english in Podol'sk, but some people can speak english there. My advice is plan visit this estate at the first half of day. It will be good if you get there, for example, at 11-12am and prepare to go back at least at 2-3pm.
