We chartered a taxi to Jerash & then to the Airport at the rate of JOD 70. The journey to Jerash from Amman is only 1.5hr. We reached the site at about 8.15am. We managed to still get in despite being early (it opens at 9am) and avoided the entrance fee "again". Haha.

Jerash is pretty huge and I'd say to spend at least 3hrs in the site. There were many magnificient structures such as the famous colums sorrounding the oval plaza, the hippodrome (there's a daily chariot show), Hadrian's Arch, several temples & two theatres. It was drizzling a little during our visit, so the site was a bit slippery & wet as most of the paths were made of stones & bricks. There were also a small museum & restoration centre which houses some of the restored Roman column tops.

I enjoyed Jerash very much and would definitely recommend to all those visiting Jordan. This was our trip finale and last stop before flying back to Bahrain. Overall, I did cover most of the sights and cities in Jordan during the trip & all went quite smoothly. Will definitely go to Aqaba & Wadi Mujib the next time around.
