Fermentoren on Halmtorvet is one of the better beer bars in Copenhagen and the Australian owner has managed to create a real beer cave, which attract beer lovers from near and far. The bar is located in a basement in a completely new building and I am astonished how they have managed to make it a really inviting with simple things like candles and soft leather sofas and small tables with different types of wooden chairs. The have manage to create a cozy bar, which makes you feel like staying a bit longer than you intended. When the Danish weather like yesterday is at from its generous side, you can also sit outside on their benches and tables.
The bar has 20 taps with lots of special beers, which gets saliva to run for real beer freaks. They offer specialties a smoked Schlenkerla Märzen, or a Siren/Cigar City tasting like a Caribbean Chocolate Cake.
Here is the current beer list of which I had more than a few of yesterday evening.
